2012NAB...Salutes The Military And Government, too...

[SatNews] It's not just the glitz of showbiz at 2012NAB ? there'll be plenty of brass, too.

The military and government will be reperesented at 2012 NAB. Are video and data important to your mission? This Summit bridges the gap between government needs and cutting-edge commercial video applications and related technologies. The objective is to bring military, government, and commercial interests together in order to facilitate new ideas and business relationships. The summit has three elements, one for each day: Day 1, Challenges, Day 2 Solutions, and Day 3 Opportunities.

While you plan your programs, here is a sneak peek at what is planned for the military/government side of the show.

The Military & Government Summit ? Leveraging Media to Create Actionable Intelligence

The Military & Government Summit offers the unique opportunity for professionals from the government and commercial sectors to discuss needs and solutions based on cutting-edge video technologies.

The NAB Show has long been the premiere event for those immersed in digital media hardware and software applications. The Summit focuses on the challenges faced by government and industry, identifies solutions for those challenges, and looks toward future opportunities. Cameras and sensors, efficient workflow analogies, asset management and complementary best practices are all part of the discussion as they relate to emergency response, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance.

Experts from government agencies define their needs and are joined by their peers from industry offering the commercial perspective on possible solutions.

Attendees are invited to interact with speakers and panelists during morning sessions. In the afternoon, time is provided to visit and talk with exhibitors on the NAB Show floor. If you are seeking commercial solutions to your mission-critical needs or if you are looking for opportunities to work with government agencies, this is the event for you.
