Home Based Business ? So Much to Consider!

When I began setting up my new business ? my first ever business in fact, I had no idea of all the things involved that I would need to organise and arrange. For anyone who hasn?t thought of this either, let me give you an example!

I had my office within my home, an old mobile that I gutted to use as the business base. However you can?t just feed a power cable through and be off and running (well, you can, but you?re paying for it through you home electricity). You need to sort out some business electricity provision. And you do need too. It comes at a totally different tariff and being self employed you need to have everything documented and done correctly, no corner cutting as you?ll get caught!

It was this that made me realise that I needed to review the lot. All utilities, all equipment, receipts, tax etc. There is so much to organise that that becomes a role itseld. No wonder people have PA?s!
