Applications on plain paper? with full details of education qualification, research/training experience in the relevant field along with self attested marks sheet and certificates are invited for the post of Junior Research Fellow in the DST funded project titled ?Ecological studies on primates and evaluation of their habitat in Mizoram? as per following details:

Name of the position: Research fellow

No. of position: 01

Duration of project: 3 years

Fellowship amount: 16000-16000-18000/-pm as per DST guidelines + HRA and MA as per university rules

Minimum qualification: Candidate must have good academic record with M.Sc. Degree in Zoology/Wildlife Biology/Forestry having experience on wildlife studies/ Life Science with specialization in Zoology or Wildlife biology.

Preference will be given to NET qualified candidate.

Position is purely temporary. It will be terminated on completion of the project or on recommendation of PI if work done by candidate is found unsatisfactory. Nature of work is primarily field based. The working site will be in Dampa Tiger Reserve, Mizoram. Desirous candidate having strong aptitude for work in difficult field conditions need only apply up to 30th September,2012. Candidate may be registered for Ph.D. degree.
