Afuso Named Washington County Law Librarian

The Washington County Law Library has a new librarian.

Pauline Afuso was appointed to the position after Brian Huffman left to take a similar job in Dakota County.

Afuso has previously worked at West Publishing/Thomson Reuters as a product manager, as a reference librarian at the University of Southern California Law School, and at the law firm of Paul Hastings in Los Angeles, according to Washington County. Afuso is also a member of the American Association of Law Libraries and the former Minnesota Association of Law Libraries president.

According to the county, the Washington County Law Library serves more than 4,000 people a year and has more than 10,000 volumes of printed legal materials.

The library is open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays in the lower level of the Stillwater courthouse.
